James Hancock and his brother Tom, who was born with Down Syndrome, draw the most beautiful things. Apparently "Tom relaxes James' technical obsessions and James enables Tom’s concentration and playful mark making".
It's so hard to watch these, but it's even harder not to. For some reason I'm absolutely fascinated with ALS - largely I think because I cannot comprehend how one deals with the knowledge that one is about to die. Tim LaFollette, who recently died, was an amazing man. And his support team, The Often Awesome Army, is just incredible.
Nathan and Katie of Eight Hour Day have decided to travel across the United States for an entire year, in search of good design and inspiration. They sold their home, rented out their studio, and have hit the road with their gorgeous dog in a cute little Volkswagen. I'm so jealous.
