God I love this.

The Massachusetts Mental Health Center was slated for demolition to make way for updated facilities.  Anna Schuleit was commissioned to do something to memorialize the building in a way that reflected the sadness and hope it has seen, and the past as well as the future.

Struck by what she didn’t see in the building, the presence of life and color, she executed a massive public art installation called Bloom.  Nearly 28,000 potted flowers filling almost every square foot of the building.

Breathtaking.

'Modern Day Mossages' is a typographic installation in the Paddington Reservoir Gardens in Sydney, commissioned by the City of Sydney.  The moss was attached to the sandstone walls a mixture of heavy clay soil, beer and yoghurt.  Brilliant.

Noah's Ark

The newly created Noah’s Ark at the Skirball Cultural Centre in L.A. looks amazing.  The floor-to-ceiling ark fills an 8,000 square foot gallery and is full of handcrafted animals from recycled materials and every day objects like rear view mirrors and mop heads.
