Twitter bores the crap out of me most of the time. I see the value of it for immediacy of news, or for spouting information to a captive audience (although I don't see many people spouting useful information - some, but not many). Me, I use it as a 'permanent' connection to a small group of people of particular interest to me, but I imagine I'm boring them senseless even if they're not boring me.
But I am intrigued by the limited number of characters, something Ad Age have used to relatively good effect -
asking for career advice in 140 characters from various advertising folk.
